1Q In one of your journal entries you wrote that God has revealed
quite a few word of knowledge, but the Lord's instruction was not to
do ministry. My question is if we're not supposed to reveal the word
of knowledge, what would be the purpose of God revealing if it's not
going to be revealed?

Jesus also had the word of knowledge all the time but does not reveal
it all the time. For example, He knew about the woman at the well and
about Peter's three times denial all the time. Such word of knowledge
are only used in response to conversations or reactions of the
individual. When the woman at the well responded in a religious way to
Jesus request for water and lied that she had no husband, then only
did Jesus reveal that He knew that she had five husbands and the one
she is with is not even her husband (John 4:18). Jesus told Peter that
he was going to go through a difficult time as Satan was going to test
him. When Peter boastfully claimed that he was ready to go to prison
and also to death, Jesus revealed that he will deny Him three times
(Luke 22:33-34). When one begins to walk closely with God like Jesus,
God will reveal things all the time but not everything is to be
announced and told to everyone. They are revealed only when it helps
the person concern to confront their own untruth of themselves.

2Q In similar fashion, if the Lord reveal something, whether it be
word of knowledge or vision, but we're not supposed to speak about
them in public, what would be the purpose of God revealing?

There are several purposes. One of them is that the person ministering
cannot be lied to as he is given the ability to discern whether a
person is telling the truth or not. In the Spiritual World, no one can
lie as it is visible to those in the higher realm and also all lies
produce an effect visible to all which is why such fallen spirits want
to hide in darkness. Secondly, when it suits the purposes of gently
rebuking and confronting people who are both lying to themselves and
also to others, the truth can be unveiled privately without
necessarily shaming a person in public. Only the truth can set a
person free.

Question: in the long "Panorama of the Bible" series (with many, many
tracks that Joshua Ang put together), where you talk about every
single book of the Bible, I noticed that while listening to the
"Genesis" part, you mentioned that "by getting wisdom one also gains
holiness", I agree with that, but then I thought of Solomon (the
wisest man after Jesus), and all the mess that he got into. What
happened to him?, if wisdom gains holiness, how come he became like a
sex beast? I ask it with all due respect, it is not a challenge to
what you said, but I'm puzzled by Solomon.

Answer: The correct phrasing should be that wisdom gives the increased
opportunity to be more holy. Knowledge has the potential of increasing
one's horizons and expansion in the particular area that it is in;
however, with every opportunity to increase it is also the opportunity
to be puffed up and produce greater destruction. One example is with
mankind and its knowledge in general: with the knowledge of nuclear
power, man can have the opportunity to tap on a long lasting power
source but at the same time has the opportunity to destroy themselves
in a greater manner.
